What is Vibedit?

Vibedit is an AI auto-editing and captions plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. It edits video for you directly on the timeline: it transcribes, cuts filler and retakes, selects the strongest moments, assembles a near-final cut, reframes landscape footage to vertical 9:16 reels, and adds automatic captions and translation, with best-in-class Hebrew and RTL support. It runs inside the editor, so footage never leaves the user's machine. Vibedit is an in-editor alternative to cloud auto-clippers like Opus Clip.

Automatic editing and captions in DaVinci Resolve

Many editors moved to DaVinci Resolve for the color and the price, and were left without a reasonable solution for Hebrew captions. That is exactly the gap we close.

Hebrew captions that do not break

Hebrew breaks easily in Resolve: reversed direction, flipped letters, broken alignment and fonts that mishandle final forms. Vibedit resolves direction and alignment before the text reaches the timeline, so what is written is what you see.

Your footage stays on your machine. What goes to the cloud is the audio for transcription and the edit decisions, not your video library.

How it runs inside Resolve

The panel opens next to your timeline, reads the open sequence, and returns the result into it. No manual export, no footage upload and no jumping to an external site and back. You stay inside the application from start to finish.

Captions are written as real timeline elements rather than a burned in image, so you can change a word, shift timing or swap the styling after everything is already built.

Why editors moved here

Resolve gave editors grading room color without a monthly subscription, but the day to day work of Hebrew captions stayed manual, line after line, and that is the part that eats most of the hours on a dialogue project.

The same brain, two applications

The analysis, the cuts and the captions come from the same system that powers the Premiere Pro plugin, so the result stays consistent and there is no second product to learn.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on the free version of Resolve?

The goal is to work on the free version and not only on Studio, because that is what most editors in Israel use.

How does it handle reversed Hebrew?

Direction and alignment are decided before writing to the timeline, so the text arrives already ordered instead of depending on default behaviour.

Can I use both Premiere Pro and Resolve?

Yes, the same account works in both applications.
