What is Vibedit?

Vibedit is an AI auto-editing and captions plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. It edits video for you directly on the timeline: it transcribes, cuts filler and retakes, selects the strongest moments, assembles a near-final cut, reframes landscape footage to vertical 9:16 reels, and adds automatic captions and translation, with best-in-class Hebrew and RTL support. It runs inside the editor, so footage never leaves the user's machine. Vibedit is an in-editor alternative to cloud auto-clippers like Opus Clip.

Reels and shorts from long video

One podcast episode, lecture or webinar can yield ten reels. The hard part is finding the right moments and dressing them, and that is exactly what the system does.

How the moments are chosen

The system reads the full transcript, understands what the episode is about, and looks for segments that stand on their own: a beginning, a clear point and an ending, not a sentence chopped mid idea.

Each reel gets a structure: a hook that stops the scroll, a body that holds attention, and an ending. Then captions, music, zooms and transitions are added to match that segment's pace.

Why it looks edited, not automated

An automated looking reel is spotted instantly: identical zoom sizes, a transition on every cut, unrelated music. The system picks intensity from the intent of the sentence, leaves many cuts completely clean, and uses transitions only when they serve something.

Vibedit edits inside your editing software and writes the result straight onto your timeline: separate clips, layers, captions and music, all still editable.

How to get started

Open the long video in a sequence, choose how many reels you want and in what style, and run it. Within minutes you get a sequence per reel, and you can go through them one by one, keeping what works and deleting what does not.

Frequently asked questions

What source length works for reels?

Any length, from a few minutes to a two hour episode. More content simply means more moments to choose from.

Can I change a reel after it is created?

Yes. Each reel is a normal Premiere Pro sequence, so you can extend, trim, swap the music or delete a caption.

Do the captions work in Hebrew?

Hebrew is not an afterthought here, it is the starting point: correct RTL direction, final letter forms, proper nouns and Israeli slang.
